My microwave and my fridge and yours truly
The Three Amigoes.
I work hard and burn out fast. Some people do yoga, some sleep, some watch T.V.
I cook.
I’m not a great cook, but I haven’t killed anyone yet! Cooking new cuisines is an exciting thing, but when your vegetarian, ‘new cuisines’ involves an awful lot of shortlisting and adaptation. Most of the recipes that come here are from my dear mom and grandmom, who watched me cook with an upraised eyebrow (or two) and a hand to cover their mouths. They lent me their borrowed hand-me-down recipes that are fantastic!
This blog has some of the stuff that came out of the stove uncharred on a Friday Afternoon.
They are here to help you recreate some of these delicacies, but more to remind me how to make them.. .. next Friday!
